Lorcan was never really interested in becoming a part of the military. He used to be afraid of the thought of getting killed by some cat. He originally wanted to be something simple, a job that could get bread on the table. But when his father introduced him to some of cats in Aldira's military, he thought the military was the most amazing thing he's ever heard of. He soon after began to secretly train with one of the military's cats. He didn't want to train with his dad because he knew that he might let him win for the most part, nor did he want him to know. It wasn't long before the military cat told Lorcan's father about the secret training. When his father found out, he did get upset, but he soon got over it being happy for his son's decision. So, he basically just let the training continue and pretended not to know. Why? Well, he was a shade, and Lorcan didn't want to be shade.

Lorcan did get accepted into the military n' all (when he was old enough, mind you), but the Lorc-meister became a bit of a topic in the military once he found an 'oddity' per say. It wasn't a sword anybody knew to exist, Lorcan even claimed he wasn't even sure how he found it. Lorcan would be found talking to this sword, which he began to call 'Dragon Spirit'. He claimed that the sword did talk, but only he could hear it. Nobody honestly believed him, which was a real downer on his part. Other than the talking, the sword's blade burned those who were cut by it. One day, his bro Sven took the sword, but he found out it was worse than a butter knife. This caused Lorcan to believe that Dragon Spirit only worked for him.

Sadly, not every lives forever, and the general of Lorcan's time gave in. The old cat recommended that Lorcan should be the next general. It was a bit of a mess for Lorcan, since him and the old general weren't exactly the best of friends. He again couldn't really believe the fantasy that was his life. It didn't take long for Lorcan to take a reality check and jump into his next chapter in life...

Dragon Spirit (if this even counts...)

You've saved me from danger many times, so I could consider you a friend. But I wish to find out more of your origin before I can say anymore.

It was dark, only the full moon provided Aldira with light tonight. Lorcan was doing his usual runs around the city to make sure nothing extremely troublesome was going on. In the distance, a she-cat screamed as some thugs were trying to take her belongings. "Ah dammit, why can't we just play by the rules for once?" he said while unsheathing Dragon's Spirit. The blade began to glow with a bright red luminescence, not the best for sneaking up on the thugs, but it'd do. 'Going for the thug with the white tipped tail will be your best bet' Dragon Spirit called into Lorcan. Following the sword's commands he started to run towards the giant cat. One of the thugs noticed Dragon Spirit's luminescence and directed everyone's attention toward it. "Shit! Its the General! Forget the girl, we gotta get outta here!" the white tipped leader snarled, starting to run away. The thugs all began to run in multiple directs, trying to get a better chance of not being caught. "Your aren't getting away from me, you swine, not today," Lorcan yelled after the thug group's leader. Apparently, all the riches the leader collected were starting weigh him down, because Lorcan was starting to get closer. As soon as the giant cat got close enough, Lorcan leaped, attempting to shove Dragon Spirit into the thug. It missed, but Lorcan still landed on the giant cat, forcing him to fall. "Ha, ha! What did I tell you? You were never going to out run me, swine!" Lorcan said triumphantly towards the giant cat, beginning to tie him up. The giant cat only replied with a low growl. Lorcan only laughed mockingly as he took the cat to the prison. Another damsel in distress saved.
